Refund Policy

This Refund Policy governs the manner and defines the situations under which Caribonix www.caribonix.com website (“Site”) will provide a refund, the procedure for claiming a refund, and the responsibility of Caribonix in circumstances resulting in such a claim.

By registering and/or purchasing any of Caribonix’s Services you are declaring that you accept and agree with all the terms and conditions outlined in this Refund Policy.

Coverage & Scope

Our Refund Policy covers the refunds by Caribonix for the services it offers as part of its digital agency services. This policy does not apply to any other properties owned by Caribonix, or by our employees, subsidiaries, or contractors. The Policy does not cover any third-party service and/or product providers bound by contract and also, any third-party websites to which Caribonix’s website links.

General Refund Policy Guidelines

All clients receive a unique proposal and contract based upon the specific needs they have for their service/project. Each project has a detailed service agreement that must be signed by the client before work starts, which specifies details regarding refunds, cancellations, and project pricing. Please refer to your contract for specific details.

Requests for the final portion of payment due on all projects are invoiced at the project halfway point. Payment in full shall be made by the Client within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the foregoing invoice.

Cancellation

At Caribonix we take every project with the final product insight. It is as much our responsibility as the clients. If you intend to suspend a project which was already commenced, due to any business reasons, please understand that man-hours, planning, preparation, and resources put into that project will be billed for. If you intend to suspend our services on a commenced project due to dissatisfaction over anything, it is our request that you take out a few precious minutes to write to us at billing@caribonix.com for a final dialogue prior to cancellation and requesting a refund. In such cases, our best efforts will be made to arrive at an amicable solution. Projects suspended for any reason before commencement can be withdrawn or canceled by informing us via an email to billing@caribonix.com.

Eligibility for Refund

Web Development Services/Projects

The deposit payment specified in your contract is non-refundable. Every web development project will be initiated with a specific service agreement with the client. However, if there is no agreement and no clear discussion of refund policy, the following delivery policy will hold true.

  • Full refund: In cases where the project has not been started or if the initial suggestions, recommendations, etc. are not accepted by the client. The Full Refund policy will initiate after receive the upfront/deposit payment date and will take thirty (30) business days to refund the amount.
  • Partial Refund: If there is a failure to deliver as per our delivery policy after the approval of the initial design style. The partial refund will be in proportion to the work completed.
  • Non-refundable deposit: The deposit payment specified in your contract or any deposit fee paid is non-refundable. Requests for refunds, after the deposit payment’s associated Milestone Tasks, have been achieved, must be presented to Caribonix in writing. Refund requests must be made prior to Caribonix receiving written or verbal authorization or approval of acceptance of services performed. In the event that the deposit amount does not fully cover the development time spent on the project (@ $75USD/hr.) and other expenses related to the development of the project, then additional payment will be due. Please refer to the specific details found in your project proposal and service agreement
  • No Refunds: If the project has been completed and uploaded on the server or the client decides to suspend the project once the project is completed.

Graphic Design Services

The deposit payment specified in your contract is non-refundable. Requests for refunds, after the deposit payment’s associated Milestone Tasks, have been achieved, must be presented to Caribonix in writing. Refund requests must be made prior to Caribonix receiving written or verbal authorization or approval of acceptance of services performed. After the proof has been accepted, no refund is available on graphic and design services.

  • Full Refund: In cases where the project has not been started or if the initial design samples have not been approved.
  • Partial Refund: If there is a failure to deliver as per our delivery policy after the approval of the initial design style. The partial refund will be in proportion to the work completed.
  • No Refunds: If the project has been completed.

Digital Marketing Services

The deposit payment specified in your contract is non-refundable. Every web development project will be initiated with a specific service agreement with the client. However, if there is no agreement and no clear discussion of refund policy, the following delivery policy will hold true.

  • Full Refund: If the project has not been initiated.
  • Partial Refund: If the work on campaign creatives, copy and other collaterals have commenced or been completed.
  • No Refund: If campaign fees have been paid to advertisers, publishers, partners, or ad platforms.

Non-refundable Services:

The following payments are not refundable.

  • Payments made for Milestone Achievements
  • Payments made for Website Maintenance service
  • Payments made for Application (software) Development service
  • Payments made for renewal or upgrade of subscription services
  • Payments made for any setup service

Money-Back Guarantee

This section describes Caribonix’s refund policy and 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. If you purchase an account with a thirty (30) day money-back guarantee and cancel within the first thirty (30) days of your Initial Term (the “Money-back Guarantee Period”), you may receive a full refund of all hosted services fees paid (the “Money-back Guarantee Refund”) only. Money-back Guarantee Refunds only apply to hosted services and do not apply to add-on products, domain registration fees (given the unique nature of their costs), setup fees, or any fees for additional Services. If you cancel within 30 days and your plan includes a free or paid domain, Caribonix will deduct a non-refundable standard fee (the “Domain Name Fee”) of $15.99 (and any applicable taxes) and any bank charges from your refund. This not only covers our costs but ensures that you won’t lose your domain name. You may transfer your domain to another registrar or simply point it elsewhere at your convenience. Please note: as per ICANN Transfer Policy newly registered domains cannot be transferred to another registrar during the first 60 days of the registration period. You retain ownership of your domain until the end of its registration period unless you renew it. Caribonix does not offer any refunds for cancellations that occur after 30 days.

The Money-back Guarantee Refund is valid for PayPal and credit card payments only. Due to the costs associated with processing payments made by other methods, we are not able to offer the Money-back Guarantee Refund for other payment methods. Any refunds are made at the sole discretion of Caribonix.

Only first-time hosted services accounts are eligible for the Money-back Guarantee Refund. For example, if you previously had an account with Caribonix and you canceled your account and signed up for a new account, you will not be eligible for the Money-back Guarantee Refund on the second account. In addition, refunds are not offered for accounts that are suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service Agreement.

How Refunds Are Processed

Unless your contract states otherwise, payments made to Caribonix by credit card or PayPal will be refunded via the method the payment was made with. Cash or Check payments will be refunded by check only.

Changes

Caribonix may at any time, without prior notice under its sole discretion, amend this policy from time to time. You are therefore requested to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the Caribonix website after any such amendments automatically implies your acceptance of the same thereof.
